Regarded highly for its tranquil beaches, gently shelving sand dunes, and unruffled palm groves, the Eye of Wisdom took keen interest in this eastern coast. They established a trading post, Shahar Harbor, which blossomed together with the trade routes it helped grow. Shahar Harbor rewarded the Eye of Wisdom not only economically, but also in terms of lore and knowledge driving the Eye to seek more arcane insights.

However, the thriving market also lured the malcontents of the high seas. The infamous Captain Kidd became the bane of Shahar Harbor. Bards and storytellers still recount tales of his ruthless raids and hijacks. When Captain Kidd mysteriously disappeared, Will Blake, his protegé took command of the pirate ships and a new era of piracy began.

Attacks on Ravenfell intensified, forcing the once indomitable Shahar Harbor brigade to seek the Guards of Varanas for help. Together with the Eye of Wisdom, the alliance was able to ward off the pirate attacks.

Then, the legendary Snow Blake, granddaughter of Will Blake, appeared and re-organized the pirate league.

Considered to be most daring of all the Pirate Captains, she used brilliant tactics and unrivaled swordsmanship to raid and plunder merchant ships. She also used her unrivaled beauty to deceive lords and warriors to her cause.

Using Will Blake’s infamous pirate ship Black Mary to further sow terror, Snow Blake unleashed unrelenting attacks that ultimately broke the resolve of the Shahar Harbor defenders.

I was among the gallant men when Lords of Shahar Harbor gave the orders to evacuate the town. And as we guarded the rear of the withdrawing forces, we watched the Snow Blake’s pirates pillage and lay waste to the lovely Shahar Harbor.

As we withdrew the remaining forces, we saw triumphant Snow Blake, standing on the Northern Tower as the sun set into the sea. This was the last that we saw of the terrible but beautiful Snow Blake.”
